A nice, wet, fresh batch of snow fell today. Perfect conditions for our first snowman of the winter..
Speaking of snow, I've been meaning to share this conversation that took place between Zoe and I shortly after the first snowfall of the year:

"Daddy, how do you know the difference between snow and bird poop?"

"What!?"
.
"How do you know the difference between snow and bird poop if they're both white? I don't want to walk in bird poop."
.
"Well ... snow is cold. And crunchy. And all white. Bird poop isn't cold. It's watery. And it usually has different colors mixed in."
.
"Oh."
.
"And since it's winter time, that means any white stuff on the ground is probably snow. Most birds fly south for the winter, so there's not much bird poop."

"Where do they go?"
.
"Florida, where it's warmer."
.
"So now they're pooping on Florida?"
.
"Yep."
.
"That's gross."
