Zoe's First Day of Preschool

Today was Zoe's first day at the Chelsea Community Preschool. In fact, she's still there right now. She was so excited about starting last night, that she asked if she could wear the outfit we picked out to bed.

Here's the classic first day of school photo, complete with family pet..except, that's not our cat. The cat's name is Jayden. He belongs to our neighbor, but he has become Zoe's best friend. He always seems to be roaming the neighborhood and he usually comes when she calls him. What could be better, a family pet with no responsibility! I like it!

Take care,

Did mommie cry at the drop off? I remember Richard's first day at Whittier. I cried the whole 2 block walk back home. And he was almost 6. :)

I think Jayden sleeps on your porch. A nice soft rug would be nice.

Awww she is such a big girl (at 3!) Seems like just yesterday you WOULD NOT shake your bushy tail at preschool. You were just three and already you were so SONJA! Love you guys! Aunt Shawnie

Wow - Zoe's looking pretty darn big! And excited to go to preschool - it doesn't get any better than that. :) I hope she had a great day. (Jayden looks like our Pepper - only supersized! How sweet that he loves Zoe.)

Apparently I have way too much time on my hands but the minute I saw picture two- this came to mind. Sing along to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb.

Zoe had the neighbor's cat, neighbor's cat, neighbor's cat. Zoe had the neighbor's cat. It's fleece was black and white.

Everywhere that Zoe went, Zoe went, Zoe went. Everywhere that Zoe went- the cat was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day, school one day, school one day. It followed her to school one day-which was against the rules.

Way to go, Zoe! You look marvelous for your first day. Jayden doesn't seem to have skipped many meals.

I have another cat that could come and live outside your house. That would be Zoe the biting cat! In her middle age she has turned into a moody, biting girl.

Love the first day picture of Zoe.
