City by the Bay

A week later, we have photographic evidence of Zoe's trip up north. I only downloaded them from Busia's camera, so I don't have complete cutline information... Busia and Dziadzia may have to help with that.

Here's the photos, with what I imagine is happening:

As excited as Zoe always is to visit Busia and Dziadzia, she's typically equally excited to see their cats. Here, she apparently chased them away so she could have somewhere comfortable to lie.

What's more fun than Play Dough? Jewelry made out of Play Dough, of course!

On Monday, before the ride back south, there was a Chuck E. Cheese visit. She talked about it all week. Here she is taking a ride with Bob the Builder (the comic version).

And another ride with Barney:

There was a quick timeout for a phone call. We're not sure who she was calling, but if you read the previous post you know it wasn't Mom or Dad.

Here's Zoe and Dziadzia on a roller coaster simulator, the rear view...

And one from the front...

Again, many thanks to Busia and Dziadzia for hanging out with Zoe. She had a blast, and we got lots done. And, apparently, our work was well worth it. Just three days after the sign went up in our yard, one day after our ad hit the Sunday paper and six full days before our first open house... we got a full-price offer from our first official visitor. Keep your fingers crossed.

Did dziadz get "simulated" sick on the roller coaster ride? It made me a bit squeamish just seeing that photo..

Best wishes on a sale...hope the deal goes through w/o incident.

Yea for the purchase agreement!!! I am so happy for all of you. But, remember to take some pictures of the inside of the house, especially Zoe's room so she will have a remembrance of where she spent her first 3 (almost) years.

Wow, that is absolutely awesome you guys!! A fine testimony to all the work I heard that you did on the house. Hope everything proceeds as planned. Now you get to do the fun stuff - house hunting!! (Or have you already found one?)

Fantastic news on the house! Can I interest you in a 3 bedroom in Sterling Heights?

Looks like Zoe had a great time in Bay City. I wonder if Busia and Dziadzia take reservations? Maybe in a couple years we can send Rylie for a visit...

I am so happy for you both about the news of selling the house. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. And Busia told me all about her visit with them, Busia said she played all weekend with Zoe. What a great Busia and Dziadzia she has!!!!!!Aunt Kathy

Was there a "barf bag" on that simulator for Dziadz? Looks a bit terrified just from the pic. Maybe it's the lighting.

Glad to hear about the house. You seem to definitley be the exception to the rule. At least around here as there are literally 50's of houses for sale in Round Lake Beach and many for over 1 year now.

Oh, and the photo of Zoe w/the playdough jewelry....priceless! That's a keeper. I say make a xmas tree ornament out of it for years to come. Just ask J. Fuller how that will play out.

J Fuller would like to say that there should be no ornaments of any kind with any childhood pics...they may be cute now, but when Zoe brings home her first boyfriend and that cute childhood pic is smack dab in the middle of the Xmas tree, there will be issues....thanks to Mrs Zielinski for the ornament with me and DOPEY!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH.
