I think this picture that Sonja snapped today immediately jumped into my top 10 list of favorite Zoe shots. And that's saying something, considering we just copied 1,626 of them (that's 1.14 GB, for you technically savvy) onto a new external hard drive. A friend of Sonja's had her hard drive fried in an electrical storm and lost all her photos... that pushed our back-up plan (as in back-up our files, not the second option if a first plan didn't work) into overdrive.Just what did Zoe find so amusing? Take a look:

Unlike Pesci in Goodfellas, I didn't cap her in the foot and tell her to go home and get her shinebox. Instead, I put her to work. 'Bout time the kid realized life ain't all fun and games.

All in all, another very nice weekend. Looking forward to the four-day variety coming up!

The two of you work very well together. The yard looks great. Could use a pair of those pink birds though. That would finish it off nicely. : )

Picture 2: Someone has to be in management- may as well be Zoe.
Pictures 3,4 and 5: Oftentimes management has to pitch in there and show the help just how it's done.

Too cute.... Glad to see you're cracking the whip at such a young age. You ought to be able to relax on the porch and watch Zoe do the chores in oh, say, 14 years or so.... :)

Well I'm glad you guys have all your your photos of her catalogued. It may make it easier when I mention for my birthday I need some copies/pictures from each representative age from her birth till now since my computer crashed in the summer and I lost all mine. (Before I bought my external hard drive.)
NOW DID THE SUN COME OUT BEFORE ZOE'S SMILE OR AFTER?? JUST WHAT I THOUGHT!! NOW IF ONLY SHE HAD A HAT TO THROW INTO THE AIR....
