THANKSGIVING '06

Though you can't tell from the pictures we're about to post, Zoe spent most of Thanksgiving weekend fighting a nasty cold. Still, we think she had a pretty darn good time hanging out at Dodson Court with Busia, Dziadzia, Aunt Steph and SupaBusia. She made everyone play Ring Around the Rosie, Row Your Boat and The Wheels on the Bus many, many times.

Here's a shot of Zoe laughing at something. Maybe it's Daddy's senior picture in the background that's tickling her funnybone! "The Flock of Seagulls called, Daddy. They want their hair back."

She really liked hanging out with Aunt Steph, even though she sees her every Monday!

Since Zoe wasn't feeling too hot, she didn't eat much Thanksgiving dinner. Instead, she opted for a bowl of Cheerios, after-the-fact. Notice the 8x10 glossies that dominate the fridge in B.C. ... stolen from this very blog. At least we know somebody is reading it!

On Friday, we headed to Splash City in Frankenmuth to help cousin Katie celebrate her 10th birthday. Here's the birthday girl drifting down the lazy river.

Zoe didn't feel much like swimming, but she did enjoy splashing in the water streams with Dziadzia...

and taking walks around the park.

After drying off, we blew some of Busia's cash at the arcade. Zoe especially liked the ski ball game.

Thanks to cousins Emily and Zachary (and their parents... and their parents' friends), we spent a lot of the time eating concoctions that Zoe whipped up in her fully-stocked (thanks Busia) kitchen. We even had to drive separate to get it home. Here it is back at our house.

So, it looks like Thanksgiving is at our place next year. Hope you like plastic eggs. Zoe will blow on them for you before serving.

Hope you all had a great holiday. We heart you.

E&Z's mom: Yes, this is the new beta thing-a-ma-jig. Don't pick the template with the dots... that had issues. This one seems to be working OK.
