In other news, Zoe was sent home from school with her first "incident report." It's all starting... karma coming back to kick me in the ass for all the trouble I gave my parents. Here's what the report said:
Child's name: ZoeThankfully, the phrases "lewd and lascivious" or "resisting arrest" do not appear anywhere on the report.
Date: 10/12/06
Location of accident: By the foam steps in the ABC room
Time: 10:45 a.m.
Staff in attendance: Rachel and Debbie
Complete details: While playing with a friend on the foam steps, Zoe leaned over and bit her friend.
First aid given: None
The whole thing makes me laugh. Maybe I'm not a very good father. Sonja, on the other hand, called Debbie to chat about the incident. She was assured it was very out-of-character for our "wonderful" (her word, not ours) daughter.

Hey...keep in mind it's always better to give than to receive!!! I got your back Zoe!
Cobbler Ct.
Did they really send her home because of the incident?
Rest assured, it's a very natural occurance. After Emily received several bites in the older infant room, we started getting the reports that she was biting.. duh, ya, because she's been bit! It only lasted a couple months!
Wonder what Zoe has to do to get readmitted. I'm guessing the outdated practice of printing x number of times on the chalkboard "I will not bite." probably won't work here.
Just go back tomorrow Zoe and flash one of your heart-warming smiles. You'll melt the hearts of those enforcers at the daycare.
Well, I hope they didn't make our little angel stand in the corner or something drastic like that. I'm sure the other little person probably bit Zoe first. Or maybe she was just going to give a kiss and the other little person screamed "she bit me" just to get Zoe in trouble because she knows Zoe is the day care favorite.
Hey, we've seen pictures of those kids from your previous postings - they definitely look like the kind who would have bitten first! And you know the instigator never gets caught, it's always the one fighting back who gets in trouble.... Heaven knows what Zoe will have to do next time to get them from terrorizing her! Stay strong Zoe, stay strong. :)
Cindy
Yeah, she did that to Aunt Stephanie when she was mad cause I wouldn't let her walk home near the busy streets. I laughed cause it tickled.
OK, IT HAS BEEN A DAY NOW AND I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED LAUGHING AND ALL I WILL SAY IS YOU CAN'T BLAME DZIADZ FOR THIS ONE. TRUE, I HAVE BEEN TEACHING HER SELF DEFENSE, AND AS ANY REZLER KNOWS, THAT MEANS GETTING IN THE FIRST ONE, AND THEN RUNNING LIKE HELL. DID THE STAFF MENTION THAT THEY CAUGHT ZOE RUNNING AWAY FROM THE SCENE?? OK, SO THERE. ALL I KNOW IS I HAVE NEVER TOLD HER TO BITE....WE AIM FOR THE BRIDGE OF THE NOSE OR THE OLD SWIFT KICK TO THE LOWER MIDSECTION. ZOE LOVES THAT ONE WHEN DZIADZ DOUBLES OVER IN PAIN. SHE LAUGHS AND THEN SAYS "MORE"!! SO ONCE AGAIN, I WOULD LOOK AT THAT OTHER INSTIGATOR AND SEND HER HOME WITH THE "INCIDENT" REPORT. (HEH-HEH-HEH)
When she starts lobbin' water balloons at cars from the roof of 1712 Michigan Ave in the middle of the night, then you got problems. This is nothin'!

Chris,
Is that what Jen used to do? I never knew that. Tsk,tsk, tsk.
Ya know pefect cuzin michael used to bite and draw blood and he bite for about 1 year. we had no friends left at the end of it but we still had him. Just think though he is a great man now. So maybe she is on the right track. HA HA
Auntie Shirley, you can ask Mr. Lochinski who was doin' the chuckin'. NEVER throw at someone you know!! Especially a cop! I don't think Patrick saw the light of day for a week.
among zoe's first five words---"it tastes just like chicken".
