149 SHOPPING DAYS...

Kids. Geez.

The other morning (at some point between my shift serving breakfast at the soup kitchen and my nine-mile run), I stumbled upon Zoe sitting at the computer. With a Santa hat on.

"What are you doing, dear?" I asked.

She didn't answer. She can't talk. Duh. Don't you know anything about 13-week-olds?

Later, I sat down to do some work and noticed Zoe had left a couple programs running. There was a Word document that read (give her a break on the spelling, will ya?):

"MOMY AND DADY...

I FOND PITCHER OF WAT I WANT FOUR KRISTMAS.

ZOE"

PhotoShop was also open... here's the picture I found:

Cute, right? I told her that getting a dog is fine with me, but we'd have to check with Mom.

I figured as long as Zoe was preparing her Christmas list, I might as well get on the bandwagon. Here it goes:

Zoe is simply amazing as far as her abilities on the computer! I knew she was brilliant!
Your car and motorcycle are cool too! Hey if Zoe gets a dog I think it should be soon and not for christmas! Potty training in the winter BITES! I did it with Charlie! Although I think she should wait till she is ready to take care of it! haha

I think it's a good thing daddy is going back to work soon. Now that he has mastered Zoe's nap time he has way too much time on his hands.

And that little note Zoe left on the computer....tsk tsk tsk. Daddy, you should be ashamed. How could you do that to mommy?
