SNOW BUNNY

Sorry it has been a while since this site has been updated (I should somehow save that sentence as a keyboard shortcut... seems to always be the lead). As you can see by the photo above, I've been spending some time shoveling snow.

We got a nice 5-inch storm on Dec. 8 and another good dumping a week later. Can't wait until winter officially starts in a couple days!

I don't mind snow. If it's going to be cold, it might as well be pretty. That's my philosophy and I'm sticking to it. Seems Zoe doesn't mind it much, either. She had a couple good chuckles on her first excursion into the fluffy white stuff. Mom, on the other hand, hates it. She'll emerge from her winter den around May.

I've heard women talk about the frustration of being "between sizes." Obviously, Zoe has joined the club. We pulled three snowsuits out of her dresser. The first two were too small. This one, quite apparently, is too big. We could have fit small snowmen in each arm and leg. But it certainly served its purpose for the few short moments we were outside... and it should fit her perfectly this summer.

We're all anxiously awaiting seeing many of you later this week.
